Nelson, 20, says he and a friend were Cypress Hills shooting victim speaks with News 12

One of the victims in a double shooting in Cypress Hills is talking to News 12 after being released from the hospital. According to 20-year-old Nelson, he and a friend were approached by five men at Hegemon Avenue and Elston Street late Monday night.

Investigators say the boy’s father was the gunman's Reward offered in fatal shooting of 1-year-old boy

A $12,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the fatal shooting of a 1-year-old boy. According to police, Antiq Hennis was shot in the head Sunday night as his parents pushed him in a stroller on Bristol Street, near Livonia Avenue, in Brownsville.

Police say the shooting happened outside an apartment 2 in custody after shooting, stabbing near parade route

Two people have been arrested in connection to a double shooting and stabbing near the West Indian Day Parade route along Eastern Parkway. Officials say they received a call at around 5:40 p.m. reporting two men shot at 1680 Bedford Ave. One was seriously injured and the other had been grazed. Both were transported to Kings County Hospital.
