TCEQ Daily Air Quality Forecast Update

You are subscribed to Daily Air Quality Forecast (for Austin,Beaumont-Port Arthur,Brownsville-McAllen,Corpus Christi,Dallas-Ft. Worth,El Paso,Houston,Laredo,Lubbock,Midland-Odessa,San Antonio,Tyler-Longview,Victoria) for Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. This information has recently been updated, and is now available.

A significant change was made for tomorrow's Air Quality Forecast. Here is the revised forecast.

Wednesday 7/17/13
Moderate winds, heavy cloud cover with precipitation, and low incoming background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range statewide. 

Thursday 7/18/13
Winds may be light enough and incoming background levels high enough for ozone levels to reach "Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups" on the north side of the Dallas-Fort Worth area; "Moderate" or possibly higher on the west and northwest side of the Houston area; and "Moderate" in the Beaumont-Port Arthur and Tyler-Longview areas, with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening. Elsewhere in the state, moderate winds and lower incoming background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range. 

Friday 7/19/13 Outlook
Winds may be light enough and incoming background levels high enough for ozone to reach "Moderate" or possibly higher levels on the north side of the Dallas-Fort Worth area and on the west and northwest side of the Houston area, and "Moderate" in the Austin, San Antonio, Beaumont-Port Arthur, Waco-Killeen, and Tyler-Longview areas, with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening. Elsewhere in the state, moderate winds and lower incoming background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range. 

Saturday 7/20/13 Outlook
Winds may be light enough and incoming background levels high enough for ozone to reach "Moderate" or possibly higher levels on the north side of the Dallas-Fort Worth area and on the west and northwest side of the Houston area, and "Moderate" in the Austin, San Antonio, Beaumont-Port Arthur, Waco-Killeen, and Tyler-Longview areas, with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening. Elsewhere in the state, moderate winds and lower incoming background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range.
