TCEQ Daily Air Quality Forecast Update

You are subscribed to Daily Air Quality Forecast (for Austin,Beaumont-Port Arthur,Brownsville-McAllen,Corpus Christi,Dallas-Ft. Worth,El Paso,Houston,Laredo,Lubbock,Midland-Odessa,San Antonio,Tyler-Longview,Victoria) for Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. This information has recently been updated, and is now available.

Friday 9/13/13
Winds may be light enough and incoming background levels high enough for ozone levels to reach "Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups" on the west and southwest side of the Houston area; "Moderate" or possibly higher on the west and southwest side of the Dallas-Fort Worth area; and "Moderate" on the west and northwest sides of the Austin and San Antonio areas and in the Beaumont-Port Arthur, Waco-Killeen and Tyler-Longview areas, with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening. Incoming continental haze should continue in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Tyler-Longview areas, with PM2.5 levels at the lower end of the "Moderate" range. Elsewhere in the state, moderate winds and lower incoming background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range. 

Saturday 9/14/13
Winds may be light enough and incoming background levels high enough for ozone to reach "Moderate" or possibly higher levels on the west and southwest side of the Houston area and "Moderate" levels on the west sides of the Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin areas, on the west and southwest side of the San Antonio area, and in the Beaumont-Port Arthur and Tyler-Longview areas, with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening. Elsewhere in the state, moderate winds and lower incoming background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range. 

Sunday 9/15/13 Outlook
If incoming background levels are high enough, winds may be light enough for ozone to reach "Moderate" levels on the west and northwest side of the Houston area, on the north and northwest side of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and in the Tyler-Longview area, with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening. Elsewhere in the state, moderate winds, increasing cloud cover, and lower incoming background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range. 

Monday 9/16/13 Outlook
If incoming background levels are high enough, winds may be light enough for ozone to reach "Moderate" levels in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Tyler-Longview areas, with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening. Elsewhere in the state, moderate winds, heavy cloud cover with precipitation, and lower incoming background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range. 

Tuesday 9/17/13 Extended Outlook
Moderate to strong winds, heavy cloud cover with precipitation, and lower incoming background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range statewide.
