A car got rear-ended and pushed into an 1 dead after Bus, 2 cars crash

One man is dead following a crash involving two cars and a bus in Orange County. Police say a Toyota Corolla was rear-ended by a Jeep Cherokee as both were travelling east on Route 17K in Montgomery last night. The Corolla was then pushed into the path of an oncoming Coach USA bus.

The Tappan Zee Bridge from Chopper 12. State borrows $700 million for new TZB

The State Thruway Authority has agreed to borrow $700 million to keep the construction going on the new Tappan Zee Bridge project. Thruway Authority officials say they need more money until a big federal loan comes through. The Thruway is looking to get a $1.5 billion loan from the Federal Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act.

An Orange County man has been arrested and charged with rape. Christopher Messina, 24, of Goshen, allegedly raped a 24 year-old woman early Monday morning while she was visiting his Montgomery Street home.
