Join Us on 9/12 for a Webinar about EPA’s Upgraded Water Pollution Info Tool!

Did you know that EPA’s Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) Pollutant Loading Tool lets you find information about what’s being released into local waterways and by which industrial facilities? This tool uses discharge monitoring data submitted under the Clean Water Act and toxic chemical release data reported under the Toxics Release Inventory Program to give users the “who”, “what”, and “where” for water pollution data.

To find out more, join EPA’s Carey Johnston for a webinar on September 12, 2013, from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm EDT. Carey will give an overview of the DMR Tool and talk about new enhancements that make it easier to compare and contrast wastewater pollutant releases reported to the DMR and TRI programs. These enhancements were developed to provide users with additional information, such as the identity of the receiving waterbody impairment status, whether discharged pollutants contribute to a waterbody impairment, and whether the discharge is located in a county with aquatic species listed under the Endangered Species Act.
