08.07.2013: On loan from Virginia Tech, Seong K. Mun serves as president and chief executive officer of Open Source Electronic Health Record Agent. Mun says he believes that open source technology will improve the quality and outcome of care and reduce costs.

Bill Foy joins student affairs as director of communications and innovative technologies

08.07.2013: Prior to his Virginia Tech appointment, Bill Foy served as director of news, marketing, and promotion at WSET-TV since 2007. There, he managed a staff of more than 40 broadcast professionals. Foy's service and performance have been recognized with an Edward R. Murrow regional award for breaking news coverage in 2012 and a Douglas S. Freeman award for public service through television journalism in 2011.
