	3-alarm fire engulfs Woodlawn businesses A three-alarm blaze engulfed a one-story commercial building in Woodlawn Heights, destroying two businesses. It started at 4299 Katonah Ave. at around 11 p.m. Wednesday, leaving Behanâ€™s Pub in ruin, and damaging Emerald Pharmacy. Fire officials say the flames spread quickly, and took nearly two hours to contain.

	Bloomberg approves FreshDirect expansion Mayor Michael Bloomberg has thrown his support behind the expansion of FreshDirect to the South Bronx. The mayor and the city's Planning Commission approved zoning changes for a 500,000-square foot facility at the Harlem River Yard.

	Gunman shoots man twice in Bedford Park Cops are on the hunt for the gunman behind an assault in Bedford Park. Investigators released a photo of the suspect, who they say shot a man in his left and right thigh in front of 2885 Valentine Ave. last Tuesday.

	Dozens of cars broken into in Co-op City Residents in Co-op City awoke to a nasty surprise today when they found their cars with smashed in windows. Authorities say 30 to 40 cars were broken into overnight, with the majority of them parked along Baychester Avenue and the Hutchinson Parkway.

	9 arrested in alleged Belmont drug ring The FBI and NYPD arrested nine members of a suspected drug ring at a home in Belmont this morning. Officials say the arrests were made after a year of FBI surveillance at 2348 Lorillard Place, near Third Avenue.
