TCEQ MSW Advisory Council: Application Deadline Extension

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is currently accepting applications for eight positions on the Municipal Solid Waste Management and Resource Recovery Advisory Council (MSWRRAC).  To date, we have received a low number of applications for some of the positions, including those for elected officials. 

Additional information about the advisory council and how to apply (including an application form) may be accessed through the following link: http://www.tceq.texas.gov/permitting/waste_permits/advgroups/msw_advcouncil.html.  The deadline to submit applications has been extended to Wednesday, July 17, 2013. 

We would appreciate your support to ensure adequate representation on the council by sharing this information with anyone who may be eligible for available positions.
