	Rally tonight to support embattled Bridgeport superintendent A rally is set for tonight in Bridgeport to support school superintendent Paul Vallas after a court ruled Friday he was not qualified for the job.The ruling was the result of a lawsuit which claimed Vallas failed to get proper state certification.Vallas had argued a three-credit independent study he took at UConn satisfies the requirements.City leaders say they are outraged by the court's decision.Mayor Bill Finch says he expects the city to team up with Vallas to appeal the decision.

	Connecticut gas prices hike after new tax A new tax will have Connecticut residents paying more at the pump. Connecticut's petroleum gross receipts tax will go up 4 cents per gallon, beginning Monday. Diesel gasoline will also go up in price by 3.7 cents.
