DOE Announces Webinars on Establishing Regional Resource Centers for Wind Power, and More

The Energy Department will present a live webcast titled "Establishing Regional Resource Centers for Wind Power" on Thursday, July 25, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. During the webinar, specialists will discuss DOE's plans to develop Regional Resource Centers (RRCs) that will become the backbone of wind power activities focused on education and outreach. The Energy Department and the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) will also present a live webinar titled "Conducting Transmission Feasibility and System Impact Studies" on Wednesday, July 31, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. This webinar will examine the process of assessing and analyzing the impacts, costs, and benefits of transmission line upgrades and additions. Register to attend the webinar.
