Virginia Tech Board of Visitors to meet Sept. 8 and 9

09.02.2013: During the two-day meeting, the board will consider resolutions on the Upper Quad project and to formalize the creation of the Virginia Tech Winter Session. 

Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine welcomes new class, reaches capacity

09.02.2013: Nearly 2,800 students applied to be part of the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine's Class of 2017, and the school accepted less than 2 percent.

College of Architecture and Urban Studies Dean Jack Davis named Design Futures Council Senior Fellow

09.02.2013: The honor of being named Design Futures Council Senior Fellow is bestowed annually on select individuals who have shown outstanding leadership towards the advancement of design, design solutions, or the design professions.

College of Science dean's office moves to North End Center

09.02.2013: The office of the Dean of the College of Science will move to the North End Center Sept. 5 and 6. All offices except student services will be closed during this time. Student services will remain running in its current location through 5 p.m. Sept. 6. All offices will be operating under normal business hours Sept. 9.
