Deadline Extended: Fiber Reinforced Polymer Composite Manufacturing: Information Requested The Advanced Manufacturing Office (AMO) has extended the deadline for responses to the Request for Information (RFI) on Fiber Reinforced Polymer Composite Manufacturing to October 1, 2013. The purpose of this RFI is to solicit feedback from industry, academia, research laboratories, government agencies, and other stakeholders on issues related to fiber reinforced polymer composite manufacturing, specifically for continuous or discontinuous carbon and glass fiber composites with thermoset or thermoplastic matrix materials.  AMO seeks information through this RFI to understand the cross-cutting manufacturing challenges that, if addressed, could reduce life cycle energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), support further adoption of clean energy systems, and increase U.S. manufacturing competitiveness. This is solely a RFI and not a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA).  EERE is not accepting applications.  Responses to the RFI must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. ET on October 1, 2013.
