Urgent message for Gmail users - don't miss your most important emails...

Dear Buzzhairs Buzzhairs, John Stepek

I urge you to read this message carefully as you could be in danger of missing your most important emails.

You've probably noticed a few big changes in your Gmail inbox recently which have been causing some problems for Gmail users like you…

Gmail has divided your inbox into 3 (and more can be added) categories or 'tabs' including "Primary", "Social" and "Promotions".

But we've noticed that Gmail is categorizing emails from your Money Morning subscription in the "Promotions" tab - which means you currently won't be seeing these daily email alerts in your usual inbox.

You may have noticed that you have already missed some of your regular issues to Money Morning.

Two very simple steps to ensure you receive Money Morning

Fortunately, there are two very simple steps you can follow to make sure all these messages go to the right place

    1. In Gmail, go to the "Promotions" tab, select the Money Morning email by clicking and holding down the left mouse button, then drag it to the "Primary" tab and release the button (see image below):

7 years of oil

    2. This will prompt a message to appear asking you would you like do this for future messages from moneymorning@electricmessage.co.uk – click "Yes" as highlighted below:
7 years of oil

And that's it, you're done!

All future Money Morning messages should now arrive in your Primary tab. However, older messages will still be in the Promotions tab unless you move them – so I suggest having a look now to see what you have missed.

I recommend that you repeat these steps for all other MoneyWeek and Fleet Street Publications newsletters and emails that you receive to ensure you don't miss a vital issue.

If you have any questions, please let me know here.

Best wishes,
John Stepek
Editor, Money Morning

Make sure you get Money Morning every day...
Unsolicited, unwanted advertising e-mail, commonly known as "spam", has become a big problem. Most email services and internet service providers have put blocking or filtering systems in place, or created 'blacklists', in order to protect users. Unfortunately, this may mean that emails you have requested - such as Money Morning - are sent to your 'spam' or 'bulk email' folder, or are blocked entirely. To ensure you get Money Morning to your inbox every day, please follow our whitelisting instructions.
