TCEQ Daily Air Quality Forecast Update

You are subscribed to Daily Air Quality Forecast (for Austin,Beaumont-Port Arthur,Brownsville-McAllen,Corpus Christi,Dallas-Ft. Worth,El Paso,Houston,Laredo,Lubbock,Midland-Odessa,San Antonio,Tyler-Longview,Victoria) for Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. This information has recently been updated, and is now available.

Friday 8/30/13
Winds may be light enough and incoming background levels high enough for ozone levels to reach "Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups" or possibly higher on the northeast side of the Houston area and on the north side of the Dallas-Fort Worth area; "Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups" on the north and northwest sides of the Austin and San Antonio areas and in the Beaumont-Port Arthur and Tyler-Longview areas; "Moderate" or possibly higher in the Waco-Killeen area; and "Moderate" in the El Paso area, with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening. Incoming continental haze could also raise PM2.5 levels into the "Moderate" range over parts of North Central, East, and Southeast Texas, including the Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Tyler-Longview, and Beaumont-Port Arthur areas. Elsewhere in the state, moderate winds and lower incoming background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range.

Saturday 8/31/13
Winds may be light enough and incoming background levels high enough for ozone levels to reach "Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups" on the north sides of the Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth areas; "Moderate" or possibly higher on the north sides of the Austin and San Antonio areas and in the Beaumont-Port Arthur and Tyler-Longview areas; and "Moderate" in the El Paso and Waco-Killen areas, with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening. Elsewhere in the state, moderate winds and lower incoming background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range.
