	Troopers crack down during 'Speed Week' Commuters may see more police out on the roadways today as "Speed Week" gets underway. Gov. Andrew Cuomo says speeding is the number one cause of fatal accidents in New York, so state police will be cracking down on the practice all week.

	New cadets wrap up basic training with "The March Back" The new class of cadets at West Point is wrapping up its first six weeks of basic training with a 12-mile march this morning to the U.S. Military Academy. The class of 2017 has been training ever since it arrived on July 1.

	Hutch back open in Pelham Manor There is some good news for commuters driving on the Hutchinson River Parkway this morning. Construction on the bridge carrying the parkway over Boston Post Road in Pelham Manor is all wrapped up.

	New Rochelle man killed in motorcycle accident A New Rochelle man was killed over the weekend in a crash involving four motorcycles and a van carrying a group of West Point cadets. The accident happened Saturday afternoon on Seven Lakes Drive at an entrance to Harriman State Park.

	Schumer warns of fatal strain of Lyme disease The end of summer is just around the corner and that also means an increase in the threat of Lyme disease. Sen. Chuck Schumer is pushing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to study two new and potentially fatal tick-borne illnesses, which have already been found in the state.
