	Man hit by car in Bridgeport A man is recovering this morning after police say he was hit by a car in Bridgeport. It happened on Fairfield Avenue around 1 a.m.

	Bridgeport police car involved in crash Bridgeport police are investigating an accident involving one of their own last night. It happened on Capitol Avenue around 10:30 p.m.

	NJ arrest linked to golf course thefts Police in New Jersey say two men suspected in a series of country club burglaries in southwestern Connecticut and other parts of the tri-state area are now behind bars. Police say the men are suspected of stealing money, jewelry and credit cards from golf courses in Greenwich, Darien and Stratford.

	Fairfield man charged in alleged police chase, assault A Fairfield man was in court today after police say he led them on a high-speed chase and then assaulted an officer. Police say George Zachos Jr. ran a red light on Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield, then tried to escape when authorities attempted to pull him over. They say he sped along Kings Highway and made his way into Bridgeport, where he drove the wrong way down Fairfield Avenue.
