	Store employee fatally shot in broad daylight A manhunt is underway for the person who shot and killed a store employee in broad daylight. Police continue to guard the shop where the shooting took place at around 1:30 p.m. Monday on New Lots Avenue, near Pennsylvania Avenue, in East New York.

	Thief strikes Brooklyn Tech twice in 1 week Police are reaching out to the public for help finding the thief who broke into Brooklyn Tech High School twice in one week. Authorities released surveillance photos of the suspect, who they say stole laptops and iPads at around 3 a.m. last Tuesday, and again two days later at around 4:30 a.m.

	IMC closure postponed until Sept. 11 The closure of Interfaith Medical Center has been postponed on the same day it was slated to shut down. Public advocate and mayoral candidate Bill de Blasio says legal action will keep the hospital open at least another 16 days until Sept. 11.
