	Police: Woman killed after car flips, boyfriend stabs her A woman died this morning after her car flipped over on the Pelham Parkway ramp heading onto the northbound side of the New England Thruway, according to police. The fatal accident is now being investigated as a homicide.

	Male shot in shoulder on University Ave. A 19-year-old male was shot in the shoulder and the suspect was arrested on University Avenue this morning. Police received a call at around 2:15 a.m. regarding the incident in front of the High Bridge Gardens Houses.

	Mayorâ€™s office releases data on murders, shootings The mayor's office released new numbers Tuesday showing New York City is on track to break last year's record for the lowest number of murders and shootings. This year has seen 77 fewer murders compared to the same time last year. There have been 213 in 2013 compared to 290 in 2012.

	DEP seeks to clean Westchester Creek The Westchester Creek will be receiving bioswales to help curb the cost of dealing with the water's pollution. The Department of Environmental Protection wants to build the bioswales, which take in rain water that could cause the sewage system to overflow, causing pollution to spread.

	GOP mayoral candidates visit City Island With the primary election next month, Republican mayoral candidates Joe Lhota and John Catisimatidis visited City Island tonight to talk with prospective voters. Former MTA chief Lhota and billionaire entrepreneur Catsimatidis attended the City Island Civic Association meeting, where they shared their plans for the city.
