The 31-year-old Bronx cab driver is facing several Man to face judge in murder of estranged girlfriend

A Bronx cab driver accused of causing his estranged girlfriend's car to crash on Pelham Parkway and then stabbing her to death is expected to be arraigned today. Investigators say Dionas Espinal murdered 20-year-old Katherine German, the young mother of his own 1-month-old baby.

Students rush to take GED exam before it’s Students rush to take GED exam before it’s replaced

Many students say they're now scrambling to complete all sections of the current GED before it is replaced with a new exam in January. Echo Shumaker-Pruitt, co-executive director of the High Bridge Community Life Center, says 200 students have applied to take the GED in August alone.
