	Man to face judge in murder of estranged girlfriend A Bronx cab driver accused of causing his estranged girlfriend's car to crash on Pelham Parkway and then stabbing her to death is expected to be arraigned today. Investigators say Dionas Espinal murdered 20-year-old Katherine German, the young mother of his own 1-month-old baby.

	4 suspects wanted in Morris Heights home robbery Police are asking for help identifying four suspects wanted for a home robbery in Morris Heights. The NYPD released a photo of two women and surveillance video of two men who forced their way into an apartment last Sunday.

	Obama: Syrian gov't behind chemical weapons attack President Barack Obama says the U.S. has concluded that the Syrian government carried out a large-scale chemical weapons attack against civilians last week. Obama says the U.S. has examined evidence and doesn't believe the opposition fighting the Syrian government possessed chemical weapons or the means to deliver them.

	DOH plans to close Tremont health center With the first day of school less than two weeks away, a local Bronx leader is fighting to keep the Tremont District Health Center operational for low-cost immunizations and vaccines. The Tremont clinic is one of two immunization clinics the city's Department of Health plans to close. It has recently been operating on a scaled-back schedule.

	Students rush to take GED exam before itâ€™s replaced Many students say they're now scrambling to complete all sections of the current GED before it is replaced with a new exam in January. Echo Shumaker-Pruitt, co-executive director of the High Bridge Community Life Center, says 200 students have applied to take the GED in August alone.
