DOE Announces Webinars on the Distributed Wind Power Market, Lighting Retrofits Financial Analysis Tool, and More

The Energy Department will present a live webcast titled "2012 Market Report on U.S. Wind Technologies in Distributed Applications" on Wednesday, August 21, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The webinar will provide a detailed overview of the Energy Department's 2012 Market Report on U.S. Wind Technologies in Distributed Applications. No registration is required. Join the webinar here. The Energy Department will also present a live webinar titled "Using the Street and Parking Facility Lighting Retrofit Financial Analysis Tool" on Thursday, August 22, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The webinar will show how property owners, utilities, energy-efficiency organizations, cities and other government entities can use the tool to compute annualized energy and energy-cost savings, maintenance savings, greenhouse gas reductions, net present value, and simple payback associated with potential lighting upgrades.
