Dallas Love Field Airport Communication Center to open Monday

Dallas - The City of Dallas Department of Aviation’s Airport Communication Center will open Monday, providing up to date information to travelers, airport tenants, visitors and city employees. The Center is located in the East Satellite Building, 7710 Aviation Place and will be open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., with plans to be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week when the West Concourse opens.

The Communication Center will use a primary number calling system to dispatch calls from a central location. Customer Service Agents (CSAs) will report customer concerns or service issues by entering work orders. CSAs will monitor airport systems such as Fire Detection and Access Control. CSA’s will capture, replay, and analyze all inbound calls and offer a reliable flow and timely dissemination of information, critical to Love Field’s new modernization strategy.

When a call is made to 214-670-LOVE (5683) or 214-671-LOVE (5683) the caller will be greeted by a welcoming voice from the Airport Communications Center from 5 a.m. to 11p.m. While the Airport Communication Center is on the current schedule, all calls will be transferred to the Airport Operations Communication Center from 11:01 p.m. to 4:59 a.m.
