Oregon Department of Environmental Quality is proposing to increase water quality permit fees by 2.9 percent to address program cost increases. The proposed permit fee increase applies to most wastewater and onsite septic system permits. If approved by DEQ’s governing body, the proposed fees will be effective Nov. 1, 2013. DEQ seeks your comments on this proposal. Comments must be received by 5 pm. on Aug. 23, 2013.
