| Register Now | July 18, 2013 | 12–12:45 PM EDT Despite major advances in medical care, critical threats to maternal, infant, and child health still exist in the United States. However, by putting evidence-based practices and processes into action, pregnancy outcomes and maternal, infant, and child health can be improved. In Ohio, a network of care providers and public health professionals are working collaboratively to improve health outcomes for mothers and children across the state. By using data to drive programming, the Ohio Perinatal Quality Collaborative has worked to reduce the occurrence of preterm births and improve the health of preterm babies. Join us on Thursday, July 18, at 12:00 PM EDT as we highlight the success of this collaborative’s approach and discuss the importance of addressing and improving maternal, infant, and child health. This 45-minute Webinar will be led by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary for Health, Dr. Howard K. Koh, and will include a roundtable discussion on the impact of this critical Leading Health Indicator topic. Register today!
