Please join us for a conference call on TUESDAY, JULY 16 at 3:30 PM EDT for a briefing on the implementation of the Affordable Care Act – specifically the Health Insurance Marketplace. The call will feature Administration officials from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) who will discuss how the Marketplace will works, who will be eligible to enroll, and how you can help enroll others in health insurance. Info on how to receive updates on implementation of the law and where to obtain helpful fact sheets will also be shared. There will be a question and answer period with Administration officials on these issues.
Today, one in three Hispanics does not have access to health insurance coverage. We hope that you will join us to learn more about the Health Insurance Marketplace and the new opportunities for coverage that will soon be available for the Hispanic Community and all Americans. HHS is on target for open enrollment in the Marketplace, which begins Oct. 1, 2013. Coverage will begin as soon as Jan. 1, 2014.
