City-Wide Mosquito Fogging

As part of our pro-active approach to fight the mosquito population and help prevent West Nile Virus, the city will be fogging all Hurst streets July 1 thru July 3. All City streets will be covered each night. Spraying will begin at 9 p.m. and end no later than 5 a.m. the following morning.

July 4th Hurst Stars & Stripes

 The City of Hurst is proud to present its 11th Annual "Hurst Stars & Strips" event on Thursday, July 4th, at Hurst Community Park, southwest corner of Precinct Line and Pipeline Roads.

Join us for fun, music, activites and fireworks. The fireworks will start at approximately 9:30 p.m.  Fireworks display will take place at the Hurst Community Park.

Trash & Recycling Holiday Schedule

The trash and recycling schedule for the City of Hurst will be un-affected by the July 4th holiday. All trash and recycling will be picked up as regularly scheduled.

City office closing - 4th of July Holiday

All regular city offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2013 in observation of the July 4th holiday.  City offices will resume regular business hours on Friday, July 5, 2013.  All emergency response offices will remain open.
