Individual tickets now available for Center for the Arts' 2013-14 performances

Season subscriptions are on sale now for the lineup of performances by international, national, and regional touring performing artists and companies. The performances include timeless classics and family-friendly offerings, works with deep meaning and global themes, and events with a fresh and sometimes unexpected perspective.

Krystyn Haecker designs National Museum of the American People for master's degree in architecture

08.06.2013: Recent graduate Krystyn Haecker completed a museum design on a prominent site near the National Mall in Washington, D.C., for her master's thesis. The proposed museum would tell the immigration and migration story of all American ethnic groups from the prehistoric period to the present.

David Cox named head of chemical engineering

08.06.2013: A long-time professor of chemical engineering at Virginia Tech, David Cox has been named as the head of the department. He previously had been serving in the position on an interim basis. 

Blacksburg and Virginia Tech join US Ignite to help bring forth Internet's future

08.06.2013: The Town of Blacksburg and Virginia Tech have joined US Ignite, a White House plan to facilitate the formation of a national high-speed broadband test bed.
