You are subscribed to Daily Air Quality Forecast (for Austin,Beaumont-Port Arthur,Brownsville-McAllen,Corpus Christi,Dallas-Ft. Worth,El Paso,Houston,Laredo,Lubbock,Midland-Odessa,San Antonio,Tyler-Longview,Victoria) for Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. This information has recently been updated, and is now available.

Monday 8/5/13
If incoming background levels are high enough, winds may be light enough for ozone to reach "Moderate" or possibly higher levels in the El Paso area with highest concentrations this afternoon and into the early evening. Elsewhere in the state, moderate winds and lower incoming background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range.

Tuesday 8/6/13
A large and intense African dust cloud should spread rapidly northward across South Texas and should raise the daily PM2.5 AQI to "Moderate" or possibly higher levels in the Brownsville-McAllen, Corpus Christi, and Laredo areas. The dust may begin arriving in Central and Southeast Texas in the afternoon or evening. Elsewhere in the state, moderate winds and lower incoming background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range.

Wednesday 8/7/13 Outlook
African dust should spread rapidly northward across the eastern two-thirds of the state and will likely raise the daily PM2.5 AQI to "Moderate" or possibly higher levels over most of this area. Elsewhere in the western third of the state, moderate winds and lower incoming background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range.

Thursday 8/8/13 Outlook
African dust should continue across the eastern two-thirds of the state and will likely raise the daily PM2.5 AQI to "Moderate" or possibly higher levels over most of this area. Elsewhere in the western third of the state, moderate winds and lower incoming background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range.
